President Lario discussed the role of IFAD during food crises and how it seeks to focus on projects that reach local communities; thus creating a relationship with ‘participants’ and not ‘recipients’. In the third part, global challenges such as the changing narrative surrounding globalization as well as re-globalization were covered.
