The Insitute of International Affairs has released the new Pacific Report No. 10.
In this issue, Director Beom-shik Shin of the Institue of International Studies at Seoul National University contributed an article titled '2024 Russia Political Outlook'.
Director Shin explains that despite the heavy sanctions, Russia has demonstrated a robust economic capability to sustain an intense war for over two years.
Moreover, the return of occupied territories seems unlikely to be on Russia’s negotiation table, making it another challenging year for Ukraine.
Director Shin also adds comments for South Korea by explaining that Russia has internally classified unfriendly countries into five categories, with South Korea falling into the most favorable one.
